Some days are just too cool. 33 people, trapped 700 meters underground. And through the effort of some very dedicated people, today they're back on the surface safe and sound.
Not to mention that we all get to watch it unfold live, from the front row. And comment in real time with thousands of other people from all over the world.
Quite frankly, I don't know what's been the coolest this century. It's gotta be a close one between this mine rescue and seeing the first pictures coming from the surface of Mars. Tough call to make.
